RESOURCES

We have to talk about liberating minds, as well as liberating society.
— Angela Davis

This resource hub is not all encompassing. It addresses various societal issues, many of which intersect and inform each other. It is a space meant to lower barriers, and to welcome open and safe dialogue, learning, and introspection.

Not all of these materials will align with your understanding of the world, or your epistemological values. But every learning situation starts somewhere, we are open to comments and proposals, and it is our disalignments that truly lead us to collective understanding.

TSL has compiled the following resources in the hope they are good starting points for you to learn and continue to engage meaningfully (theoretically and in the field) with the social issues affecting those with less chances to be heard, seen and acknowledged. If you deal with these problems yourself, we hope our materials are respectful and effective tools for material change.

This resource hub is continuously being updated as our society is shaped by changing ideologies, social movements, socio-economic crisis, political and cultural shifts, and varied self and collective expressions of resistance and resilience.

“Masses of people think that feminism is always and only about women seeking to be equal to men…Their misunderstanding of feminist politics reflects the reality that most folks learn about feminism from patriarchal mass media.”
