Community Climates Program

Build a community.

Create sustainable climates.

How do we build a community in hostile and contentious climates?

Our Community Climates Program (CCP) works alongside partners and frontline communities to provide micro-grants, free services, and educational materials to folks affected by unequal climates. By organizing locally and globally, we work to reshape narratives and knowledge around climate and social justice from the ground-up. Recognizing that environmental justice intersects with other systemic patterns of economic precarity, racism, health inequality, and political crises, we integrate multisectoral responses in CCP to support local communities continue their work.

We work towards building community through direct community engagement and practice-based research to address unequal social landscapes and climates, ranging from supporting women’s entrepreneurs affected by climate-induced period poverty to providing rapid relief to frontline communities affected by social and environmental harm. We respond with timely grant opportunities, collaborations, and relief kits in times of humanitarian emergencies. Follow our Rapid Relief Fund and Postgraduate Scholarships below!
